WHAT WE TEACH- Crane Safety Basics- QUALIFIED RIGGER Safety- slings, hitches and basic rigging equipment - Crane Signals (hand & voice commands) - class time is 6 hrs.
Cal OSHA 4999 Qualified Rigger standards & Fed OSHA 1910.180 - 1926.753 are covered along with practical demonstrations of site inspection crane signals and rigging applications. Students learn competent person knowledge of how to safely plan a crane project, basic rigging equipment used on cranes and how to signal a crane properly with hand or voice commands.
We use our own 25 years of experience and Crosby's Lift Guide Instruction Tools to train your employees how to perform inspections on slings and lifting gear. This class is good for both Construction & General Industry applications.
Students get a "Qualified Rigger & Signal Person " wallet card upon successful completion of the course.
On site training is available with an 10 person minimum class size. On site classes are subject to travel fees.
CLASSES with less than 10 students may be rescheduled. All safety classes are payable in advance. Cancellation fees will apply unless 1 week written cancellation notice is given. Cancellation with less than 1 weeks written notice is non-refundable. Students will be placed in a future class if they cancel or “no show” with less than 1 week notice.
